The old paradigm programmed us to seek solutions to our health and healing outside of ourselves. The old paradigm is not sustainable. Now we witness the emergence of a new paradigm. The new paradigm brings power back to the people. The new paradigm heralds a deeper knowing that the answers we seek are and always have been, inside us. As we reunite with our innate intuitive wisdom, we remember that we are ultimately responsible for our own health and resume our role as participants in our own healing, and that’s empowering!
Everything I discuss in this article, I have personally experienced. During this lifetime, I’ve suffered a lot of physical illness and chronic pain. My first life-saving operation was performed at the age of 2. I was fed synthetic drugs throughout my entire childhood and teenage years. In my early 20’s my chronic illnesses worsened and I spent a lot of time in and out of the emergency ward at hospitals. The illnesses and injuries continued, culminating in another near-death experience following the birth of my first child at age 31. At age 36 following the birth of my second child, I suffered my most severe and final health crisis. It was during the darkest phase of this health crisis, in September 2010, that I experienced a spontaneous spiritual kundalini awakening. My journey back to health, since that moment, has been nothing short of miraculous. I’ve never shared my health journey in full detail. But I’m sharing parts of it now because I am living proof that the new rules for creating lasting radiant health, do actually work. They saved my life and I still live by them today.

When my health hit rock bottom, I eventually turned within and patiently waited for the answers. Soon after, I innately knew I had to do anything and everything to bring joy back in my life. So I followed my intuition and signed up for salsa dance lessons. The healing began. This is why I dance. Whether I’m the teacher or the student, the simple fact that dance places me in a state of joy makes it a powerful healing elixir.
